What you can see

G-STAR is held every November at BEXCO and is the biggest game show in Korea: hands-on demos of upcoming games, publisher stage events, cosplay and merchandise. According to the floor plan released in late September, Hall 1 hosts large booths from major publishers such as Krafton, HoYoverse, Google Play and Webzen. Hall 2 hosts overseas publishers including Koei Tecmo, SEGA, NetEase and CD PROJEKT RED, a global game showcase, and an indie showcase of about 100 developers on the ground floor.

The OWCS Asia finals (Overwatch esports) take place in the BEXCO Auditorium on Nov 20–22. Tickets for the finals are sold separately; organizers said a finals ticket also lets you into the general BTC halls on that day. The developer conference G-CON 2026 runs during the show too.

The most important point: there is no box office. General tickets are sold 100% online in advance for safety, and sales for each day end at midnight (24:00) the day before. To visit on Saturday Nov 21, buy before midnight on Friday Nov 20.

What time to go

On opening day (Thu Nov 19) doors open at 11 a.m. because of the opening ceremony; check the official app for later days. Popular demo booths get long queues as soon as doors open — if there's a game you must try, arrive 30–60 minutes early and get your wristband first. Ticket check ends at 5 p.m. and last entry is 5:30 p.m., so arrive by 4:30 p.m. at the latest. Saturday is usually the busiest day; Thursday and Friday are quieter, though school groups may arrive after noon.

Food nearby and what else to see

BEXCO is in Centum City, right next to Haeundae. For dinner, head to Haeundae for marinated beef ribs, or grab a quick bowl of dwaeji-gukbap (pork and rice soup) or milmyeon (Busan cold noodles). The food court inside gets crowded at lunch.

The Busan Museum of Art and the Busan Cinema Center are next door, the Suyeong River walk is close by, and Gwangalli and Haeundae beaches are a few stops away. If you're in town on a Saturday evening, catch the free Gwangalli drone show.
